Frigg is especially notable as Balder’s mother, and her role as his mother is central to one of the most poignant stories in Norse mythology – Death of Balder and her failed attempts to prevent it.

Frigg possesses great wisdom and foresight, which she often uses to protect her loved ones. However, despite knowing the fate of her son Baldur, she cannot prevent it, showcasing the themes of destiny and inevitability. Though Odin is known for the greatest Wisdom, at least one situation is known when he was looking for advice from Frigg. This additionally highlights Frigg’s wisdom.

However, there is at least one unconfirmed situation when Loki challenges Frigg with a comment saying she has relation with Odin’s brothers Vili and Ve.
